Installation Services 

Safety & Tie-Back Anchors for Suspended Rigging Equipment:

CSAI’s safety anchors are designed and engineered to support conventional outrigger beams, parapet wall clamps and direct rigging of a boatswain chair with descent control equipment.  Independent anchoring points must be provided to secure each worker and equipment.  

Safety anchoring systems must be engineered and installed in accordance with applicable safety codes and regulations.  

All CSAI installations are engineered on a project-to-project basis.


EXCLUSIVE BENEFITS TO CSAI ANCHORS: 

Stainless Steel:  All CSAI anchors are secured using only stainless steel hardware (bolts, lock washers & nuts), and manufactured with 7/8” stainless steel eyelets.  These two (2) features greatly prolong the anchor’s life span.

Anchor Strength:  CSAI anchors exceed minimum code strength requirements.  In the event of a code change, in terms of strength it is very unlikely our anchor will have to be replaced.

Warranty:  CSAI anchors are backed by a 20-year warranty against defects in workmanship and/or materials.

Horizontal Lifeline Cable Systems:

Horizontal lifelines are highly restricted systems that require vigilant engineering design for each project.  These cable systems are typically intended for restraint or for direct attachment of a worker's lanyard.  Cables are NOT designed for direct rigging of primary suspension equipment or for securing tie-back lines.

Horizontal Lifeline Cable Systems are more often designed for either fall arrest or travel restraint.  Fall Arrest Systems allow workers to be continuously tied-off when exposed to the hazard of a fall and is engineered to withstand a worker in the event of a fall.  Travel Restraint Systems are designed to allow workers to be continuously tied-off and limit workers from approaching a restricted area (i.e. unprotected roof edge) by means of utilizing a fixed-length lanyard.

All Horizontal Cable Systems must be strictly engineered in accordance with applicable safety codes and regulations.

Additional Safety Equipment:

Permanent Safety Ladders:  CSAI access ladders are designed to meet applicable safety codes and suit your requirements.  All ladders exceeding 16' in length must be equipped with a safety cage.  We provide standard primed and painted or hot dipped galvanized access ladders.

Safety Guardrails:  CSAI manufactures and installs safety guardrails and supports to suit your safety needs.  We provide standard primed and painted or hot dipped galvanized guardrails.

Foot Guard Supports:  When safety anchors are located in the parapet wall where tenants have access to them, the anchors must be protected  or "concealed", where necessary to prevent them from being a "step hazard".
