Repair Work
CSAI’s services also include complete maintenance and repair work to existing anchoring systems as necessary to provide full certification of the equipment. It is common for anchoring points to require periodic maintenance work due to regular use of equipment. Some of this work includes the following:
ØRe-tightening of anchoring points ensuring they are fully snug and secure for use. ØVoids in concrete (due to spalling) where backing plate is buckled.CSAI disassembles the anchor; fills in the void with premium cement non-shrink grout and replaces the bent back plate. ØWhere surface corrosion exists on anchoring points, CSAI cleans and coats corrosion with zinc rich paint (cold galvanizing). ØReplacing severely rusted securement bolts and hardware where necessary. ØApply DYMONIC caulking around anchoring points thereby preventing water from penetrating the supporting structure. ØRepair work to lifting roof insulation. ØComplete disassembling and re-assembling of roof /or wall anchors to accommodate re-roofing projects. For all repair work, CSAI provides full certification of the existing installed safety system.
